For most of us, it took a lot of guts to get started in real estate.
The uncertainty was daunting. The stakes were high. The mind kept thinking about the financial reward. The body was put to use and then started aching. Rinse and repeat. Day after day.
Then, like magic, everything fell into place and a paycheck of 41K was delivered. Such was the experience for one of our BP members. Check it out! Take about motivation for a newbie!!!

Brenda, I recommend getting as much education as possible while cleaning up your finances. There is plenty of free material on the web. Additionally, you can subscribe to many cool real estate sites like this one ... or the one below to get your head in the game!!!

Wow. Talk about a passive business model, love it. Out of curiosity, how did you get into land investments. I am very curious as I am a big fan of SFRs since I need an immediate return.

It is surprising to see how popular Lake Havasu is these days. I think a lot of its fame can be attributed to MTV for broadcasting it as a popular spring break destination. Have you checked out Air BnB to see if a vacation rentals are good investments?
Do you resell or rent out the land parcels? Ironically, my parents have a parcel east of Kingman which is currently vacant, so I am a little familiar with such types of property. Do you buy the parcels as raw land -- which would be expensive to develop, especially if there is no electricity, water, septic system, etc. -- or developed land? Also, do you have a location preference within Mohave county (i.e. near the Grand Canyon, Lake Havasu, etc.)?
Thanks for the input folks.

Does anyone hold investments in Kingman, Lake Havasu or Bullhead City? If so, how is the market in your area?
When I look at listings from these cities, I always find smoking deals. Yet, since I am a buy and hold investor and my knowledge of this area is limited, the state of the rental market is always an unknown for me.
If you have investments in these areas, please chime in and provide some input.
