I am currently trying to get back to buying single-family rentals after taking a few years off and was wondering what people's thoughts were about what is likely to get crushed in this post corona environment? In other words, what property class are you avoiding and why?

Any predictions on which class will be hit the hardest post COVID?

Any word on things to watch out for? For example, I recently heard on the Jason Hartman podcast that there may be some state and gov rental assistance programs coming out. Any thoughts here?

Overall just curious as to how people are approaching buying in these uncertain times and/or tips on things to be aware of as the rental assistance programs mentioned above. TIA

@James E. I was also at that conference. Hate we missed each other.  I agree it was an awesome conference. I will be back next year!

I  want to clarify my intentions behind the title of my post. I never intended on using the word "hyped" in the negative way that it can be used. I only meant excited! So replace "hyped" with "excited!"

Thanks for your response @Henri Meli

@Juan Vargas thanks for your response. In hindsight I probably should have used the word excited instead of hype. My intention behind the post was to see what upcoming real estate events everyone was looking forward to. I have no real agenda behind my post other than curiosity. But as a bonus If I saw an event that looked intresting then maybe I would go.

Hey, I just wanted to see who was going to the Best ever conference this week Denver? I am a newbie to the MF space and I intend on pursuing the syndication model to fund my deals. I would like to link up with anyone at the conference who has some experience in the space and who wouldn't mind a rookie like me bending their ear. Or if you are a rookie like myself and would like to trade any info gathered thus far then give me a shout too. Thanks in advance!

@Andrew Campbell good point! I will be raising money and buying for myself. But most of what I will be doing is raising capital from other investors for the foreseeable future.
