Hey BadAss Team,
I will be in Denver the week of Dec 17th working on a rehab. Could you let me know if there are any Meetups scheduled for that week? Would definitely be interested in attending. I live in Hawaii but am from Denver (Englewood/Greenwood Village/Centennial). Just picked up a SFH in Englewood and looking at expanding. Would love to met some fellow REI driven members. Let me know.

Hello All,
I am sending out this inquiry in hopes of finding out if there are any REI meetups in Denver this December? Specifically 17-21. I am in town for a short time only and am hoping to meet some friendly BP family members. Please let me know if you have heard anything. The BP events calendar currently only lists events through November.
thank you

Post: Liability and concerns of having a wood buring stove in a rental

I have just purchased a SFH which has a wood burning stove in the living room. What concerns, liabilities, responsibilities and legal implications should I be aware of in regards to landlord protection? Should (could) there be any language in the rental lease disclosing the stove and recognizing that the landlord is indemnified from liability if disclosed properly?
thank you BPers...

Hello BP family,
I have SFH property that I am closing on this month in Englewood. I am vetting Property Management firms and am hoping to get recommendations. I'm looking for reliable, dependable and resourceful leadership that will allow me to be hands off (with the exception of certain major issues and expenses) and is available to the tenant 24/7 for service calls as well as manage rent receivables and repair expenses. If there are licensed PM companies that service the Englewood, Co area, I'd love to start my research process.
Thank you all in advance.

Many thanks,
Post: attached vs individual SFH

Hello BPland,
I have been receiving leads from agents for both attached and separate SFH. I have typically steered away from attached due to the unfamiliarity of the regulations and responsibilities when I comes to repairs. Can I please have some feedback as to the pros and cons of owning and renting condos and townhomes? I have been running numbers, but I'm sure there are nuances of owning an attached property that the numbers don't reveal.
thank you all...

Post: Fannie Mae multi family down payment requirements

Hello BP Family,
I am submitting an offer on a property this week. This is a duplex unit. I have recently been inform from my lender that Fannie Mae requires a 25% minimum down payment. I originally was planning on 15% as the down payment. Could I possibly get some ideas of alternative options for down payment percentages or alternative funding?
Thank you
