Post: Counter Tops Manchester CT

Hello,

Based out of Manchester CT and looking to get a granite or quartz  counter top for my rental. Its only a 5ft long section of counter. From my research I think I should be able to find a left over piece at a reasonable price? Does anyone know of any good local vendors? This unit is owner occupied and will become a rental unit in the future.

You obsessively have a lot more experience than I do but as warren buffet always says you don't sell your best asset. If your property has increased in value that much in 3 years just imagine what it could be in 10.

@Dennis M. and @Jim K. I totally agree It sucks that she has friended me. My Facebook was set to public so Im sure shes already done the typical Facebook stalk of my page. I just dont want to be off putting since it is owner occupied. At the same token I agree I dont want to be friends with her and exchanging cooking recipes... ect

@Tim Crosby I see your point as well. Maybe ill just be letting this pend for awhile since I dont know what todo

Just purchased my first 3 family house and I inherited 2 of the existing tenants and living in the 3rd unit. The tenants have lived there for 11 and 4 years both seem like solid tenants. One of them just friend me on Facebook and now I have that friend request pending. I dont know how I feel about this thoughts?

@Yaicha Bryan I have city sewer and still got the inspection done. As the city line is in the street I am still responsible for the line that goes from house to the main city sewer line. For $250 with an older home (1847) it gave me peace at mind knowing I was good.

@Justin Jarboe I would like to see your updated one. Ive been generating one and plan on seeing an attorney soon

@Michael Noto Interesting just purchased a house through the CHFA program and they require you to take a landlord class. They teach differently. I will look into this further!

@Justin Jarboe I saw a while back you asked about occupation limits. I believe that is state dependent as in CT you can not have a limit for people living in a unit. For example you could have a family of 7 living in a one bedroom and as a landlord you can not say anything about it. However you can no guest can stay longer then "x" days without written permission.

@Aaron K. Thanks for the insight. Located in Manchester CT. The other appliances currently work but are 20plus years old and need to be replaced the wear is very noticeable. Recently bought the 3 family home and giving it some TLC and getting a much better return on my money.

I have a tenant that there stove broke and going to replace ASAP. When the lease is up if the tenant does not renew I plan on renovating as it needs a major face lift. After renovations I think I should be able to get 1100-1300/month. My question is what is your thoughts on stainless steel appliances? Is it worth the extra money? Should I go electric or gas?

Thanks
