@Paul Timmins Thank you for the advice! Unfortunately the only meetings I've found through Google, the REIA website, and meetup.com have been inactive for quite some time. Do you have advice on interacting via phone for meetings in other areas? I know it's a valuable experience and I would hate to miss out! I'm hoping to locate other investors in my area so I can create an in-person meet up as well.

@Alan Brown Thank you! The amount of information available on BP is astounding. I've been spending time daily on educating myself and know there's still so much more to learn. There is a lot going on in the CF, Kalispell, and Whitefish area. It's a busy market and I look forward to being more involved in it. I haven't been to the Bozeman area in many years, what do you focus on for REI in Bozeman? Or, are you investing in other areas as well?

Hi Duncan! It's great to see someone else from Montana, even if you're currently living in Denver. What area of Montana are you hoping to invest in? I've been keeping an eye on the market in Flathead County while working on a flip and searching for new multi-family investment properties.

Hello Everyone! 

My name is Casey. I've recently switched careers from working long hours as an engineer to comitting to full time to Real Estate Investing. My wife and I are planning on focusing on buy and hold rental properties. We have already flipped two houses while working full time, and would love to do more flips if the right deals come along. As a beginner, Bigger Pockets has already been a valuable resource. 

I hope to find other investors to network with and learn from. I haven't found a meet-up in my area of Monatana yet, and would love to find members in or around Flathead County to get together!
