Good afternoon everyone! I was looking for suggestions in regards to lender who can do commercial loan on LLC in California. Me and my partner are thinking on opening an LLC, buy SFR with hard money and refi after rehab is done, but not sure if we will be able to obtain financials through commercial loan. Conventional loan is not an option for us.

We would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance

Hello everyone, I am visiting Maui for a couple of weeks and I was wondering if there are any local investment clubs or get together on monthly basis that I could join while I am here. Looking into buy and hold vocation rentals here.

Thank you in advance

I was going through the same process just a few weeks ago. I did a lot research and what I've learned from glass door brokers reviews that KW offers the best training, also they offer continuing education even after you are on your feet. I went to one of their meetings and it was great. They had few speakers, a lot of experienced agents were there just to stay on top of the game. Overall I think it's great company to start due to their extensive training. I didn't go with them just because I was fortune to find a mentor which I consider a better choice, but it's my personal preferences. Also look at the terms of the contract how much is the split and fees, however experience is probably more important aspect than financial side of it at the beginning. Best of luck to you!

I want to thank you both for an amazing opportunity you offering! It's such a blessing to have people like you who is such a great example of love to others. If you will ever consider out of state newbies I would love to participate. I am looking for my first flip in California which is challenging but having a great mentor, who I met through bigger pockets, definitely make things much easier and more fun! Now it's like a challenge for me to grow and be able to offer the same opportunity to others as you did. Thank you again

Thanx Madeline! You know when you new to all this and read a smart book and watch this cool videos how to make a 6 figure with no money you start believing it) those mentors make it sound so easy I should admit they are great sales people and with their experience it is easy but the reality is different since you have no connection no hands on expirience.

Thank you again for your time

Thank you so much everyone! I didn't know I could try to do both at the same time. I was under impression I can't do both, I thought it is prohibited due to net listings. I gues I have to do more research.

Thank you everyone for your time to respond and support!

Hello everyone!
I am new to big pockets but I am very happy to find forum like this! Such a great opportunity to learn from pros and I hope to help others soon once I get on my feet.
I have run into dilemma. I've been in finance for many years I love it but it is 9-5 job. So I finished my contract ,got my real estate license right after and the plan was to become a real estate agent till the moment I learned about wholesaling.
Any advise if I should go to real estate or try to do wholesaling if the ultimate goal is to become a real estate investor myself when I have enough experience and money.
Forgive me if this is funny question to ask. But I am very new to this business and want hands on experience before I invest any money into something that I don't fully understand.
Thank you in advance
Svetlana
