Thanks so much James, I've read quite a few of your posts and articles, great info! We are wrapping up some projects out here and will definitely have to touch base with you for multi-family rentals, I really like your business model.
Still trying to figure out the whole East/West thing you guys have going on. My husband, Chris, is from Akron and he gets it and tries to explain it to me, I think I have to be there and experience it to really understand it.

Thanks Isaac, we are still trying to figure out what areas are good for investing and will definitely look for the sage advice of the locals. The Heights are areas we've considered, but I think Euclid is too far north since we'll be based out of Hudson-Aurora area.
We are really excited for the move, San Diego is getting way too expensive, sunshine tax I guess!
We're big time underdogs, go Browns!! I really hope Johnny had a rude awakening and rehab helped set him straight, he has so much potential but is just plain...immature (in the best language I can think of).

Hello fellow investors!
I'm a longtime follower, but finally decided to make myself known. I currently live in Oceanside, CA (San Diego area) but I'm moving to NE Ohio this summer (somewhere between Akron and Cleveland). Why am I leaving the beautiful weather of southern California you ask? Well, for once I want to experience four seasons during the year, not just one! But seriously, my husband and I just retired from the Marine Corps and we are going back home (his, not mine!) to be closer to family.
We are currently investing in San Diego, mostly private money lending and several JV's, but we will be moving business up to Ohio with us, so we're deep into research-mode right now trying to figure out where we'll stake our claim. We will be doing rehabs and also acquiring rentals.
We look forward to meeting other like-minded investors in the area and most importantly, helping each other succeed!
