Hey Jordan,
I am a Winnipeg realtor/property manager.
Have you made any moves towards purchasing any revenue properties in Winnipeg?
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hey Jeff,
Any luck finding a property?
I am a realtor/property manager in Winnipeg. I think Polo Park and some of East Kildonan are solid options.
Curious to see what if you have made any moves so far.

Post: Can a Foreigner legally work on his/her rental property in US?

Hey BP,
As a Canadian if I were to buy a property in the USA am I legally allowed to repair/work on it myself?
I am looking to:
1. Buy distressed property with cash.
2. Repair said property doing most of the work myself and manages contractors for work I can't or do not want to do.
3. Hire a property manager.
4. Return to Canada.
4. Repeat.
Is that allowed or would I be considered to be working illegally? I am not getting paid so I think I may be ok.
Does anyone have experience with this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time!

Hey @Kyle Leeyaw,
I don't personally do any wholesaling but there is a group in Winnipeg where I live/work that mentions wholesaling on some of their social media posts.
Might be worth it to check out/reach out to "Go Get It Real Estate". They are very active on social media and appear easy to get a hold of.
Good luck!

@Amin Bhatia Hey did you have any luck investing in the US? I am in a very similar situation to what you were in 1 year ago and very interested to see if you pulled the trigger, bought a property and how it went?!
