@Steve Vaughan I currently have an adjustable-rate @ 6.5% so I definitely want to get out of that.

Should be able to cash out about 40-50k at a 75% LTV.

Based on these would you consider the refi worth it?

Thanks

@JD Martin Great news. I just wanted to make sure before I went through with the refi. Thank you

I’m in the process of refinancing two rental properties for the first time. My estimated closing cost and interest rate seem a little high.

Interest rate: 5%

Property #1:

ARV: 150,00

Closing cost $7,360. $2,727 are for escrow and 4,633 are closing cost.

Property #2:

ARV: 185,000

Closing cost $8,590. $4,006 are for escrow and $4,584 are closing cost.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Taylor

Post: Private Money for DFW Flips

Hi all,

My business partner and I are looking for private money to do flips in the DFW area. Below is our backgrounds.

My business partner has worked for a large wholesale company and flipped properties in Colorado. In a year and a half, he managed 20+ flips and wholesaled 40-50 houses in the hot Denver market.

I have BRRRR'd a property and have another rental. I'm also constantly learning and listening to podcasts to improve my real estate knowledge.

With our experience in finding deals and managing rehabs, we are ready to start rocking and rolling in the DFW market. We would love to meet up with anyone interested or hop on a phone call.

Thanks,

Taylor

@Andy Webb Thanks for the insight on a DBA. I hadn't heard of doing that so I will look into it.

@Sherwin Gonzales @Teri Feeney Styers Exactly our thoughts. We wanted to build a brand around our name so we can be recognized within the area. Thanks for the advice.

@Corey Hawkinson maybe we are overthinking it a bit... but we were planning on incorporating it with our marketing.

Thanks for the help and love the dad joke idea.

My business partner and I have come to the point where we need to create an LLC to flip properties. Any original or creative names? We live in Dallas, TX.
