@Stephen Predmore I would have to get more info on the loan then. In my case, I would be penalized because the loan terms are only good if I stay with the company I’m with. If we move, which is the plan, I would then be penalized. Correct?

@Drew Sygit I will do my best to filter through all of the advice, but I will say that everyone’s advice has been eye opening for sure. I will begin researching the HELOCs today. Any suggestions as to what we should be looking out for or any recommendations who offers the best terms?

Thanks for the advice! 😉

@David Neff I’m not to sure about tapping into the 401k. Won’t the tax penalties for using it early along with any potential growth it will miss out on during this upward trend in the current stock market be too much money to lose out on? Now, I admit that am speaking out of complete ignorance here an am not concerned about being educated on what I may be missing out on. So please let me know what I may be missing so I can not only learn, but properly utilize the tools I may not have known were in my toolbox to use for these goals/plans my wife and I have set for us.

@Taylor L. I’m definitely not going to sit on the sidelines, but going to be sure that I won’t pull the trigger unless the deal makes sense for us. I’m just going to have to build some great relationships down there to be able to find that diamond in the rough. Thanks for the encouragement to get moving on it.

@Mitchell Jaworski that’s going to have to be the plan then. It seems like I’m going to have to create the best plan out of it.

@Jingwen Dunford that never crossed my mind. My wife also said that sounded like a good idea. I’m curious to know what other may think of that strategy. I know Brandon got into the wh whole MHP business and heard he’s been doing well. The only thing is that I’m not sure if MHPs are as available as they are near me right now. Zephyrhills Florida are flooded with them and I live next door to them. Is that a good idea if the plan is to move to south Florida in about 18 months to 2 years?

@John Livingston Bullier that would work if we move into a multi unit.

@John Livingston Bullier I will need to connect to some investors in that area for the possibility of purchasing a multi unit. Thinking about all this I am beginning to believe that is going to be our best route.

We live a few hundred miles from the Boca area. So would conventional be the only route? Can we get an FHA on an investment property?
