If the contract was written properly it should give you the ability to cancel for any reason. You should have been able to cancel after seeing the video, if that's what you wanted.

When I sell properties, your bid would go to the bottom of the pile.  When I buy properties, I offer cash, close in 10 days, no contingencies, and 12 hours to accept or decline. If you seriously want something to happen, be serious about making things happen.

Retired Amry vet here.  Also have 2 sons - one an Army Doc and one a Navy Doc. Both are renting and stockpiling savings.  Big Army will move you when Big Army needs to move you. Too much risk in timing. Buy when you are discharged or retire. You probably be able to pay cash.  Thank you for your service.

BTC-USD down 10% at $17,793.

Good time for @Eric Carr to do some Bitcoin shilling.

Or for you to do some panic shilling.

Lets see what happens
Always buy the way down and enjoy the ride up. That is all.
You do know that everything goes down on its way to $0, right? That is all.

90% of the subs I use on new construction are 40+ year old white guys or of Mexican decent.  Hardly any young people are learning skilled trades. Few high schools even teach shop anymore.  I can find 20 wholesalers, 10 web developers, 8 lawyers and 3 ortho surgeons easier than a skilled electrician, plumber and framer.  And yet we just spent $400 billion on student loan forgiveness.  No, the cost and supply of skilled labor is not getting better.

26 SFHs, 1 LLC, 1 checking account, 1 insurance policy, apartments.com, 1 old pickup truck, 1 laptop, 1 cell phone w/ 25 trusted professionals & contractors on speed dial. I'm guessing self-management takes maybe 15 hours per month.

Here are 12 9 steps to take to sell:

  1. Hire an agent who knows the market.
  2. Set a timeline for selling your home.
  3. Get a pre-sale home inspection.
  4. Don't waste money on needless upgrades.
  5. Get professional photos.
  6. Put your house on the market.
  7. Set a realistic price.
  8. Review and negotiate offers.
  9. Find an agent that can count to 9

All the best!

Best thing I've learned in 13 years - M2M rental agreements.  I can deal with problems immediately and don't need a lease that reads like Moby-Dick.
