So I would have to hire a debt collection company and an attorney would not be able to take on a foreclosure due to the strip, correct?

Is it game over at that point if a loan becomes unsecured or is there any steps at that point as a lien holder to pursue the debt? Can you hire an attorney or hire a debt collector?

It sounds like you have an unsecured note, I'd suggest talking with a collections attorney in the state the note is located in.

It's possible for a 2nd lien to be unsecured and removed off the property?
