Thanks both. And 100% on taking action. We're setting up our team now and looking at properties. Our goal is one property in 2019, though it will take some work in this market to locate a good investment. We're aware the first one--while it should be profitable--is going to be the all about starting the learning & journey. So that we're set to take more on with each step.

Hello and Happy 2019 everyone (well, a few minutes out still for us Pacific folk)!

I've been on the site for a bit now, and figured I'm overdue for a newbie post.

My wife and I live in Eugene, Oregon and are starting on our real estate journey. Our goal with real estate is the freedom to spend our time how we choose. And our starting strategy is buy & hold rentals: we're considering SF and small MF at the moment. The next step will likely be trading up to large MF. Target properties are 2-3bd, we're looking local/near-local to get our feet wet.

Anyway, thanks for the read, say hi if you want. We're always looking for connections, pms welcome. Best wishes all!
