Thank you! @Russell Brazil
Are you certain it's not asbestos? From your knowledge, will Asbestos ever grow out of wood?
Making sure it's not asbestos is my priority.
From my own online-search, it seems to me that asbestos only grows in rocks. Of course, I know there is manufactured asbestos used in construction from old times.
If it's indeed the kind of mold (penicillium), will Bleach+water kill it? Thanks a lot!

@Dan McCahan , it's foreclosed property and I don't think there is ever insulation in the basement around joints area. House was built in the 1930s.

I am rehabbing an old house with a wet basement. Most contractors told me those in the picture is white mold. But someone repairing the basement there said it is not mold but Asbestos which seems to be more dangerous staff.
Should Asbestos only grow naturally out of rocks but not wood? Any opinion is appreciated.

Thank you all. I am sorry that I couldn't reply to you earlier. Had some crazy days afterward and didn't have time to check BP.
@John Woodrich Thanks for your info.

@Jennifer Rysdam Thanks for sharing. I guess the current cellular network can't handle too much video, it might be possible when 5G network is available. I am disappointed that they don't have the security light integrated into their system.

@Barry H. Wow, I am so sorry for you. That's terrible. Putting up $2000 for security bars is quite a cost! I guess the security system can only some bad guys out there.

@Adonna Pruette Again, thanks for your helpful information for the radio, security lights and alarm. I will probably try some solar powered LED security lights first to avoid changing bulbs. For the alarm, I just purchased a package from Simplisafe because it uses cellular and doesn't need wifi where my properties don't have yet. I checked Ring, it seems to me that you have to have Wifi to use it. With WIFI, Ring looks cheaper than Simplisafe.
