@Joseph Caracappa I was searching for more information about the owner of the properties I found so that I can send marketing materials.
"If all else fails at least leave/send a marketing piece at/to target property." That's a great idea, I may go to some of the properties and do this! Thank you!

@Chuck Webb I am looking to flip right now. Can you give me some of the sites you were speaking of. I'll add those sites to my list along with the hcad.org

Hello fellow investors,
I found several properties with all sorts of issues: blighted, tall grass, boarded up, structural issues etc and stuck on the next step. I am on my county's Tax Assessors site, looking up each address to get owner information but don't know what else to look for. Is this the only site to get owner address and phone number to contact or this site should be enough?

@Lyall Storandt I'm looking into it today. I'll probably do the generic business cards now, to get going, then advance them later with more info. Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone!
I am thrilled to be starting out my biggerpockets account and networking with like minded individuals! This is an exciting chapter in my life because I see freedom from my j.o.b. and more time with my family!
Right now, I am creating a plan of action for marketing to obtain my leads: direct mail and driving for dollars. The only concern I have is I don't have business cards created yet. I'm trying to create a unique company name. I'm kind of stuck there. I know its best to use a company name, but in the meantime should I use my name for deals?
I look forward to learning, growing and networking!
