Chad Fagan Do you mind if I ask what the address of the condo was? I like to buy houses that need foundation repairs. I hope the four Plex goes a little smoother for you. Are you planning to live in one of the units?

What type of repairs do you typically see in Milwaukee? Is there soil issues or is it more like faulty/leaky basements? What fixes are they using? Helicals? Steel/concrete push piers? I was in that area to watch a football game. Well a few hours north of Milwaukee. We really enjoyed it and looked at several properties while we were there. Since my main expertise is house moving/ raising, it would be great to find a home with foundation issues. Are there certain areas that typically have issues?

KC Morgan Maybe I am confused... what is the purpose of buying a fixer upper for 25k over value and putting 50k into it? Won't you just end up 75 k in the red? Why not find a house that is AT current market value and put 50 down on it and end up with 50 in equity? Is this a common trend in Las Vegas?

I purchased a triplex in Idaho falls ID six months ago with cash and fully renovated and rented it. Now that the six month seasoning period the banker required is over he has informed me that my switch to a different company that 1099's their drivers will stop me from getting the loan. I have checked with other banks and local credit unions and all of them seem to have the same guidelines on that issue. Does any one have any ideas/suggestions to finance this thing so I can pull some equity back out? 

Justin Morgan are you having a sutreia meeting on the 15th? If so I would love to come check it out and meet some of the real estate people in the area.
