I'm looking at a few rental properties in the pawtucket area for my first investment property. As I'm new to the game and unfamiliar with the market in that area, I was hoping to connect with an investor in that area who might be willing to provide some insight. I've done the basic google/trulia/zillow searches, but was looking for some more local knowledge, if possible.

I found what seems to be a great deal, but want to be as certain as possible before committing

Thanks for your help!

I'm very interested in real estate design and development and was looking for some advice regarding an entry point. I have been exploring the idea of going back to school for architecture and/or real estate design, but was hoping to get into the field without having to go back to school. If there is anyone in the field that would be willing to connect and discuss how they began or provide any advice on how I might be able to get started with just a health sciences degree and 3+ years of direct sales experience, I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Tim

I am curious if anyone has experience rehabbing to incorporate smart, internet-connected devices and what impact it has on resale value. I'm very interested in creating more autonomous homes to allow for easier living.

What are your thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages to incorporating more internet connectivity into the home. Will it increase resale value? Do more tech savvy homes sell faster? is it worthwhile, or should I just allow the future homeowner take on the project themselves through a third party?

Thanks for your help,

T
