Good morning,  I am looking for a remodeler who is reasonable and familiar working with rentals.  I recently had a pipe bust in a Jacksonville town home and I am looking to begin repairs.  Basically floors, molding, small kitchen, small bath room need to be replaced down stairs.  The painting, carpet and such on the second floor from a poor tenant.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Good Morning everyone!  Recently my wife and I decided to buy our future retirement home rather than using saved funds for another investment property.  In essence this is still an investment, but I care A LOT more abut this home as we will be living in it in approximately 5 years or so.  It is a high-end, custom home near Redmond/Bend/Powell Butte Oregon.  I am asking anyone in the BP community if they can recommend a fabulous management company for me.  I have been reading reviews online and none are stellar.  I want to make sure I get good tenants in there who will take care of the home and a management company that will do the same.

Thanks for the reply.  To be honest, although I like the area, it wouldn't be my first choice... my wife's parents live there and she is very close with her family so... but, I do like it so, I think we will be happy there... state taxes not withstanding that will eat into my pension.  I'm a life long Florida guy.  We have some years before we get out there, so I would like to buy something to pay down while we are waiting. We are keeping the Vancouver, Wa area open as well, but likely it will be Bend... thanks again for the reply and good fishing.

Looking for some assistance from a Agent or Property Manager in the Bend/Redomond area.  

I am an investor in Florida who will be eventually looking to move to the Bend/Redmond area and I have some questions about the market in the area.  My plan is to possibly purchase a property and rent it out to pay down the mortgage before we move in several or more years.  I am looking at the larger lots (5 or so acres) a little out from the cities central. I want to know if these higher end homes would rent and what would the market call for.  I am looking for a house with one of those awesome Cascade/Smith Rock views.

Thank you for the reply and congrats!  I am about to purchase my first couple of properties in Jax.  I lived there for years, but now I'm in south Florida... I'm priced out of the market down here so I am focusing in Jacksonville since I am familiar with the area.  It sounds like you manage all of yours... Are you familiar with any good PMs in Jacksonville?  Thanks again for the reply and I hope you had a good New Year!
