Hi @Ashley Tocco I am in the exact same boat. Its not crazy get hungry and go after more. Our stretch goal is 4 by EOY. We are furnishing our 1st STR with plans to get our photo shoot complete 6/2 to go live on the Washington coast. We are starting to seek unit 2 and I feel the same way. I've just been trying to fill any dead air time with Avery Carl's content on the Short Term Show and her book plus I took the Bigger Pockets bootcamp and revisit those videos. At night I'm reading these forums. Being new and so uncertain about the jump, it helps me to hammer in the confidence from these experts. An almost unanimous response from Avery's guests has been start now and start earlier. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I could use some help. I am starting my first STR and as part of the county that I am starting out in I need to have a property management plan. I assume this is something that is already out there and was hoping someone could share a template or existing one they have. If someone does not have that then I would appreciate some items that should be included in this plan.

Has anyone tried Hostaway?  Sounds like Guesty is the preferred over Hospitable in this forum.  I'm just starting out with 1 property so I would greatly appreciate guidance.

Hi all! I appreciate reading through this thread. We are starting out our first STR and are looking for a PMS as we begin find our 2nd. I heard about Hostaway on a Short Term Show podcast but see on here that Hospitable is the most recommended although the few that list Hostaway are very positive. It sounds like they treat you with kid gloves and I'm afraid I might need that starting out. Please let me know if you think I'm going down the wrong path and why.

@Kim Thayer as I mentioned to Ben In another post, STR numbers I. Glacier look great. I just bought a condo up there for that.

Hi @Robert Freeborn, what type of property do you rent as an STR in Glacier? We love the area and would be interested in finding something up there. We live in Olympia. How is the occupancy impacted by seasonality?

Hi Kim, are you saying that you are seeing a 10% cap rate on condos at SunCadia?  Is that still accurate?  Do you invest in studio, 1 bdrm, or 2 bdrm condos?  Thank you!
