Will - thanks for reminding me my LLC protects me too! I almost forgot why I set the darn thing up for.

Scott - Thank you for your great tips! Who do you get Renovation insurance from?

Nice J Scott thanks for your recommendation! $300 a year isn't bad. I was thinking it'd be like 1k!

huum, good point. I will think about that next time I have a small job.

Even with big jobs with the insured companies, wouldn't it be a good idea to have general liability insurance?

Steve,

I understand. It's just nice having friends and family help, that's all. Even though they are family and friends, you never know when things can turn ugly so I was looking for insurance to buy.Do you have any recommendations?

Will,

Thank you for you advice. I would love to go that route, but what about protecting my LLC, me and my partners? I'm fairly new to entities etc, so please forgive my elementary level of understanding.

A realistic example would be if I hired a handy man who was not insured/licensed to do a small job and he got hurt on my property. What happens then?

I'm looking to buy general liability insurance for my LLC and also buying Renovators insurance for each property we buy to flip (overkill, i know, but I'm a conservative player. Let me know if I'm going too crazy!)

Which company do you recommend to buy Business Liability Insurance from and why? Thanks for any advice guys!

I agree Verizon is the best service provider but they are also the most expensive. I have an iPhone which works fine and the Samsung Galaxy is good too (both are w/ Tmobile, cheap!). Overall, IMO, I think as long as you get a phone with a full internet browser, you'll be fine.

Thank you for all the comments and suggestions. I will definitely be moving forward with buying something by February or sooner.

Rich - Thank you for the post. You've mentioned in your profile that you've picked perfect areas for appreciation in your lifetime. Is SWFL your current location of choice for future appreciation?
