I heard on a BP podcast that there is a promo to try RentRedi for the first year for only $1. Is that still valid? I am trying to go back and relisten to find the podcast but no luck yet.
Many thanks to anyone that can help.

@Phil Olinger interesting thread. You must have extensive first hand knowledge of China's current state of affairs, uninfluenced of course by our media's collectively poor job of telling us truth.

@Dylan Bergum i saw that video too, but if you think about why Ken McElroy is saying to not buy this year... he has hundreds of millions of dollars of investment being effected, plus he already sold his "200 million of assets" this year. He has no reason to buy more this year or take risk. The caution he gives is real and worth factoring into your deal analysis, but like others have said on this thread, a good deal is a good deal. You may have to tighten your criteria to add some cushion and search a little harder, but if you find a good deal...why wait?

looking over the comments from weeks ago...wondering if some people still have the same opinions about the seriousness of COVID-19.

The effects of no Chinese tourists coming to the US in 2020 would have about 3-4% impact on overall tourism industry in the US, just based on recent years of numbers, not spending. Knowing how much Chinese like to spend, the economic impact would likely be higher.
Despite some claims on this thread, people don't just travel because they have money. There are legitimate concerns globally which are going to have an impact on the US market. If you're not paying attention to media channels (i.e. i found two random media excerpts (left, right and somewhere inbetween) and the stock market recently, just close your eyes and hold onto those inhibitions while the world reacts.

as a person living in China and experiencing it from the country of origin first hand (see my post above), i can say yes, the efforts to contain the virus have been quite extreme, but those who think this is just an over hyped flu are not acknowledging the fact that 1) the kill ratios are much different than influenza 2) there is still no vaccine and 3) the rate and methods of spreading are not entirely known and still considered highly contagious to certain age groups and health conditions. It's easy to feel unharmed and even annoyed by all the media overload, i get it, but we all feel safe...until we don't. If you don't feel the need to be cautious, at least be aware and informed.
