Hello, my name is Tyler and I’m currently 23 years old. I live on the east end of Long Island and I’ve been a long time reader of bigger pockets, all of the success posts I’ve read have been super inspirational and I’d like to dive head first into the real estate investing world.

I would like to start off in the duplex, triplex and fourplex area of investing as I feel as if there's better cash flow for those types of properties opposed to SFH. I seem to be having trouble zoning in on an area I'd like to start investing in, was looking into the Kansas City and Indianapolis area but I am having trouble finding nice buildings that are up to date and don't need much work. My budget is in the $250-$250k area. Any information on real estate agencies or property management companies in those areas would be super helpful.

Hi, I’m new to the forum and new to investing. I plan on purchasing an investment property by the end of the year, my plan is to buy and hold the property for long term wealth. I am looking in the Fort Worth Area as it seems the economy is good there, specifically Arlington.

My question is, in general how do you know where to purchase buy and hold properties so you actually make money on the property when you rent it out, any advice is appreciated.
