renters insurance typically covers your personal property, not the building.

Go to Maryland Real Property web site and check the address. Typically, public records will show new ownership.

Thank you for the reply. I am working with my bank for the loan, and my loan officer is pretty sharp. My credit is excellent, yet when they pulled my credit it was 710 and I'm disputing the score since 2 of 3 are 780 - so I'm wondering how they came up with the low score! I have zero credit card debt Either way, the property will be cash positive and the 5% seems to be in line.

curious as to what kind of bank rates anyone has gotten in 2017?

I got a loan with Capital One for my 2nd investment (closing in May) property, and it's 5%.

Bought my first one 3 years ago and it's 4.6%.

Need to know if this an acceptable current rate?

Thank you
