thanks everyone for your input. Lumber liquidators has a sale on some vinyl plank ( 2.19 on close out sale.89 ) and laminate 1.79 down to .89. I'm going to go for it!

Hey BP, I'm in the process of rehabbing a rental and wondered what flooring was best for low income rentals. In my area 3/1 rents for $600-665. The unit had carpet in it previously but I'm going for something more durable. I've heard folks talk about laminate and ceramic tile, but what about the plank vinyl? They carry 15 -25 yr warranty on brands from Lumber liquidators in our area. And would you use laminate in bedrooms in place of carpet? What do you guys think?
