Just keeping the group updated. Non-QM has left the island again. and HELOCs are still no here unfortunately.

What if they have no heirs or will? I'm about to get into this situation where I'm buying a boutique hotel for 3.3MM with seller financing and the seller is 80 and is estranged from his entire family.

Hey Leila I'm about to work with them too. Could you kindly let me know the downlow?

@Paul Winchell @Daniel Vincent @Tom Wagner @Chris Piel @Duc Ong

Hey y'all! I am looking to get into the big island market and I know very little. I'm looking at a deal and want to know if this area is good or not.... I know some areas people don't buy because of the active volcano. I think this is one of them. I just want to know why it's so cheap (other than the obvious) and if there are reasons why people don't buy in this area.

I have multiple STRs in Puerto Rico and LTRs there too as well as in Utah.

Here's the link of the Hawaii property:

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I'm buying multifamily properties on the east side of the island. Would love to connect and meet up. Will be in PR december 2021-spring 2022.

@Aaron T. Thanks! Let me know. I've called a few and waiting to hear back. It seems that HELOCS on the island aren't very common. I'm also waiting to hear back from PenFed.

and technically it is a vacation home not a full on investment property.
