Hi,
I am new to the real estate game. My partner and I were wondering on what are the ways for tenants to pay rent? is there a company/website/app you recommend and what is its associated service charge?
Monthly payment via venmo would be a bad idea. Right?
Thanks!

Hi, my partner and I are getting ready to close on a triplex. Our contingency was that the tenant would have to leave by 1/12/21. However, he is a section 8 tenant and the city is having a hard time finding a new place for him. The current owner has not received any rent from tenant for the past few months. It looks like our choices would be to bail from the deal or close it and hope that the city will eventually find the tenant a new place. We are stuck as to what what should do. We really like the triplex and it's a good deal.
We understand the obvious decision is to withdraw the offer, but I was hoping if there was another way. Is it worth the risk? All signs are leading to leaving the deal but I would like to hear the unbiased reasons as to keeping it won't be bad idea. Please advise.

@Nathan G. Can you please provide an example in numbers? For example, if we buy another property together and each one has a cash flow of $500 and we are splitting the $1000 cash flow 50/50. How would I go about paying back to her the first house that was bought by her parents?

I am partnering up with a trusted friend. We recently had an offer accepted for $210K. Her parents were nice enough to pay the whole thing in cash. My question to you is how would I go about contributing the 50% of my portion? I rather not spend all of my savings since I can use that money to make other investments with the partner. Please advise.
