Some hard money lenders do not have a credit score requirement, so that would be a great way to get financing without one.

I agree with @Ingrid J. you should know on their doors and introduce yourself! In regards to financing, have you considered using a hard money lender? I would shop around for loans, until you can find a lender that best suits your needs.

@Account Closed not only does it depend on the lender, but it also depends on your experience. Some lenders let you customize your rates with a varying combination of points and interest rates to create a loan that best suits you!

Some HML may not be happy with or may not lend to owner-occupied projects, which is something you should consider when or if you "shop" for a loan.

@Jason Davids, I just want to start off by saying I am a huge fan of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". If you are looking to get started in RE investing I would suggest attending either a seminar/meeting in your local area for RE investors or contact a lender and ask them about the investing/borrowing process!
