Hi Guys
Just wanted to thank those who came out to the MONTHLY Meetup we started in New York. We had a great turn out. We helped attendees get on track with Real Estate school for those who want a license. We helped others get all the details and connect to work in the New York offices and learn hands on about Real Estate Investing. The ins and outs of how to find Real estate Deals and how to finance them and get them sold with our team that is doing that form our New York office...
You are invited to come out in April ....Last Thursdays... Flyer to follow or details on the Meetup details on ,my Yellow Letter website...
Some new relationships were started and some old ones were reignited..
There is a lot happening in the New York Real Estate community... Thanks to my nephew and son Anthony Williams who broke it down. And will be working closely with those who stay connected.
We answered EVERY question and it will continue to help the community of newbies and seasoned investors...
One of my DEVELOPER friends needed financing for a 70 homes project in Westchester and we are able to help him as well...
It pays to come out... Some people came out to find out what their first steps should be while others wanted to know more about marketing campaigns... We addressed every need.
It only gets better...
I am in New York to help you achieve your Real Estate goals ... You can connect ask for Wendy or Anthony

Have you ever attended a MEETUP for Real Estate and if so was it productive? I have found the to be a great networking opportunity. I have never closed a deal at a Meetup but I have started relationships that resulted in closing some deals. I shared my business card and my 30 second commercial. Then I asked, "What do you do, I talk to people all day long I may be able to send some people your way?" Then I let the people speak. All I do is listen to see if there their services may benefit me and if my services will benefit them, But I don't sell I communicate.
My business cards have very little information and they are basic Vista Print cards. I see some people have a lot of titles and some offers like I give a $100 for referrals...etc
I am wondering does that work?
Should one show up to a MEETUP with lots of flyers or is the house you want to sell right away enough?
There seems to be a new MeetUP starting everyday. What does one look for before investing time at a weekly or monthly meeting?
What are your thoughts? Newbies want to know!

I have a few properties I am holding onto for monthly cash flow. The fun part to me I is finding the properties and wholesaling them. Every now and then I find a property I want to add to my portfolio. Normally they need some work.
I also enjoy finding the tenants. One of my sons helped with overseeing the repairs over the summer. But his own business is booming and he no longer works on that end with me
Is it time to find a property manager or should I wait until I have more than 10 units?

I am no longer a newbie but I get a lot of questions from new investors. I mean those that are brand new or have been investing maybe 2 years
The first thing I would say is get education. It is very difficult to succeed in any field you do not become a student of first.
I also think joining a community will help you become more comfortable and build relationships that can help answer questions and direct you to the right resources.
Finding someone who is doing what you want to do then become a sponge.
Give it time. You cannot be a success overnight,
Those are a few of the tips I think would help. I am interested in hearing the more seasoned investors share their tips

I love sharing information. I have so many great experiences in Real Estate Investing. One good thing as investor is finding tools and systems that work.
I love to put signs on my properties and that gets me a lot of buyer calls. I also love the activity I have received form putting adds on this Marketplace.
A couple of weeks ago I posted about 4 adds. I have more than one offer on one of them and it helped a friend I met in Real estate reconnect.
I have other offers on my other deals from my marketing efforts but I am SO enjoying the bidding war on my West End property.
I did get a couple of people that said the property was too high for them. I share that because some people pass deals when they are told it maybe too high. I used the calculator on bigger pockets and I will let you know my closing dates AFTER they happen
Real Estate INVESTING is a passion and a joy to me. Enjoy your business
