My wife and I started exploring the real estate investment idea just a short time. We were at a car show and a friend of mine began to talk about the topic of real estate and how he has done well over the years. With me being 49 and and my wife well I rather not say lol. I knew I would love to Retire some day. The bug hit us and I began to research all I could. I found this site and watched webinars. Growing up poor and being raised by my single mom I was taught how to hustle early. I went to my bank and developed a relationship with my banker and explained to her what we wanted to do and asked if she wanted to be part of our team. We talked to our neighbor who happened to be a realtor and asked him if he wanted to be on our team as well. I had to teach him to recognize what I was looking for in properties that I wanted to fix up and keep. We went from 0 to 4 doors in about 8 months and we close on number 5 on September 1st.

P.s sorry for so long of a post.

I found a nice property that I was prepared to make an offer on. I went and toured the place liked what I saw only to fine out that is being sold on action. Now I’m not sure how I should pursue the property or just leave it alone and keep looking. The property is a duplex 2/1 bank owned and it said it was going for 27900.
