@Francisco Rivera I’m in Tampa. What’s the neighborhood?

The Ybor City area located just outside of downtown is developing area which brings tourist, cruiseline guest, music groups and artist nationwide. The city is also in talks with the Tampa Bay Rays to build a baseball stadium in the area. We are wholesalers who have found multiple deals in the area. Let us know if we can help in any way. There is some good information on wholesaling by a guy named Max Maxwell on YouTube.  He does a great job of not just giving you information but taking you along as he finds and closes deals.  I also recommend going to a TampaREIA meeting from time to time to network or just be a fly on the wall to see what other wholesalers in the area are doing or not doing well.  Hope that helps.  

Like some of the replies above, the Tampa REIA meetings are a good place to start, especially for networking. @Peter Grange definitely interested in your post.  I am located near downtown.

Hello Bigger Pockets community.  I am new member in Tampa, FL  looking to start an investment and development company by March 2017.  I currently teach so, I am looking for creative ways to build capital to start my first project.  The nature of my investing will start as flipping single-family homes, and evolve into multi-family rentals and later into renovation of distressed multi-family residences.  Any input, words of wisdom or advice would greatly appreciated.  I'm a sponge for learning, humble enough to know I don't know a lot and driven enough to do the work.
