Jeff Cichocki

Jeff has been a hard money lender since 2010 and a real estate investor since 2004. As a hard money lender, Jeff manages a hard money investing fund. Through both his personal ventures and lending through the fund, he has been involved in over a thousand transactions. As a lender and investor, Jeff has seen and done just about every kind of deal imaginable; everything from a simple wholesale, to rehabs, rentals, subject-to, lease with the option to purchase, seller finance and lending. Jeff has been involved in many creative purchase and sale situations.

Jeff loves giving back to the real estate community. He helps out as co-host at the Central Wisconsin REIA in Wausau.

Chris is the visionary and investor coach of the Master Investor Academy and Madison Real Estate Investors Association (REIA). Chris has decades of real estate investing experience and has seen (and smelled) more distressed properties than he cares to admit. He now applies that knowledge in the mentoring and education of his Coaching students that are actively engaged in rehabbing, wholesaling, and holding of properties all over South Central Wisconsin.

Chris has been a Madisonian for over 45 years and investing in the Madison real estate market for over 26 years. Since doing his first house hack in 1994, he has been involved with 100’s of house flips, 100’s of rentals, raised over 10 million dollars to fund those deals and had 1000’s of students come through his local training and coaching programs. Chris has a PhD & Master’s Degree in the school of hard knocks

Between 2006-2010 Chris taught the Real Estate Investing course at Madison Area Technical College, which saw 100’s of students come through his classes.

Between speaking engagements and mentoring other investors, Chris oversees the daily operations of his investing business, Madison Property Group, that rehabs, wholesales and wholetails properties, and holds properties for his investment portfolio.

In July 2012, Chris founded The Madison REIA and in July 2021 merged his REIA with WiscoREIA which has 5 REIA's across Wisconsin, bringing the combined membership to over 650 with 6 locations!

On a personal note, Chris and his wife, Suzanna, have three children, Tyler, Tanner and Trelan. He also has two dogs, Kona and Hemi. Chris loves classic muscle cars (Corvettes), all outdoor sports, especially golf, and fishing. As a husband, father, businessman, and real estate investor, Chris holds true to his core values and living his Life and Business Vision plan.

His personal and business motto is, “People before profits.”

Our little crew has grown so much since we started in real estate back in 2008! We have grown our portfolio, our experience, and our family! It all started with the purchase of a 4 plex through a short sale, which we renovated while living in. Our goal was to purchase a property or two each year until ‘retirement’ age. Instead, we’ve purchased several hundred units valued at over $16 million dollars, started a full-service residential brokerage, flipped dozens of houses, started an education company, and had 3 beautiful children along the way.

There have been so many lessons learned on our journey! We put in long hours on renovations, property management, business management, and did ‘all the things’ on our own for many years. As we grew, we realized the best choice was to hire fantastic third-party management and create systems to give us more time. That time is used to focus on providing exceptional solutions for property owners who want to sell and investors who want to get involved in what we do. We are also excited to offer educational platforms targeted at helping people get started in multifamily investing and to uncover their visions for life and business!

Speaker: Jay Koritzinsky, Koritzinsky & Karls, LLC

Jay D. Koritzinsky’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions, landlord/tenant and fair housing matters, and collection cases. Jay has significant experience in these areas, including an active courtroom practice. As a regular lecturer in these areas of the law, Jay has a broad knowledge in these areas and can offer relevant assistance to our clients in these areas.

Jay represents a large number of property owners and management companies, and assists them with leasing issues, evictions, collections, fair housing matters, and other advice as needed. His long history of representing these clients has allowed him to develop a very positive reputation in these areas of the law.

In the real estate transactional practice, Jay can assist buyers and sellers of commercial or residential properties, including tax-deferred exchanges. In addition to his law license, Jay is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Wisconsin. His continuing education requirements for the real estate license allow him to stay current with the relevant laws associated with his real estate law practice.

Jay received his undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has done extensive lecturing throughout the state on landlord/tenant, fair housing, collection, and related matters. Jay is a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. In addition, Jay has received the top (AV) rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is a peer-review ranking based on legal ability and ethical standards.

Joe Gracyalny

Joe is a real estate investor in the Green Bay/Fox Valley markets. He has partnerships with other investors, as well as his own projects and views investing as a team activity. He specializes in underperforming small multifamily projects, but also has interests in creative financing, air bnb, and is always excited to learn something new!

Joe has a passion for education and helping young investors. He was a teacher and coach in Dubuque, IA for a few years, before moving back to his Wisconsin roots. As a teacher, he added a few rentals in the Green Bay area, and recognized the opportunity in real estate. He took the leap and hasn’t looked back. WiscoREIA provides the opportunity for him to be able to scratch that educator itch, as well as learn from the many people in the room.

Joe got his first project under contract in 2017 with his brother Kevin and has been growing ever since. At 35+ doors and a few flips under his belt he’s focused on growing his rental portfolio, while having some fun along the way.

Matt Hodkiewicz & Tina Palma (The Phuns)

Matt and Tina started investing in real estate in 2016 with the goal of someday retiring early and if they really dreamed big, one of them could leave their corporate America job in 5 years. That dream became a reality and they both ended up leaving their corporate jobs within 3 ½ years to invest in real estate full time! Their primary businesses are flipping houses and purchasing rental properties. Today, they own 548 doors in 7 states and have new big goals to achieve!
