Hey @Account Closed ,

Welcome to BP! Best of luck to you in 2015.  Roswell/Alpharetta is a great market!

@Sheryl Gurvey

I don't have any buy and hold properties in Cartersville, but it looks like highest demand for properties are around the downtown area, and in close proximity to HWY 41.  Those are also the best areas for long term appreciation.

Hey @Sheryl Gurvey ,

I know more about Kennesaw than I do Cartersville.  Right now Kennesaw is a sellers market.  Not as many distressed sales, pretty high demand for that area because of KSU housing.  Kennesaw may be more difficult to acquire distressed properties, but once you did, the resale would be in high demand.

Best of Luck!

@Josh Johnson

I love the Rome area. I had a few friends go to Berry College years back. The friends I know that are living in Rome say it's difficult to find a nice SFR available for rent, I'm sure you'll have tons of demand for your properties. Downtown Rome has a lot of Multifamily, but I keep hearing about the lack of Homes for rent. Best of luck to you!

Hey @Julie Kern ,

It's good to hear from local people.  I graduated KSU in 2010.  Best of luck to you guys with your goals in 2015.  The Woodstock/Marietta/Kennesaw market is booming.

Hey Joel,

Woodstock has grown a ton that past couple years.  I've lived here for 6 years and the transformation has been incredible.  Downtown Woodstock is starting to remind me of Roswell.  I love the Canton area.  My wife and I have been keeping our eye on houses and lots around Canton/Ball Ground.  I currently live on 1/3 acre and it's time for a little more room.

Good to meet you!

@James Wise

Thanks for the welcome.  I'll offer any insight I can.  The Bigger Pockets community has taught me a ton.  I'd love to pay it forward.
