Hey everyone! I am looking for investors, either seasoned or new, who are interested in the Greater Tampa Bay area. I am a Realtor that works for a Brokerage that specializes in Investment Properties (both fix-and-flips and buy-and-holds). I am always looking for more investors because I am always getting in properties to sell. I go through about 15-20 properties a month and would really like to be including all of you in those! I am not a Broker, so I cannot say for sure what the requirements are besides having to be an active agent for 2 years prior, taking the class and passing the test, but I know many people who are Broker Associates. Meaning, they have eligible to become a Broker, they passed the Broker exam, they have just chosen not to be the Broker of their office. Because the Broker is who the Agents hang their names under, they are obviously held to a much more strict standard by FREC and for some people, that is a lot of pressure. However, other people thrive as a Broker because they take their own commissions and are perfectly okay with the extra eyes on them watching the moves they make. There are definitely multiple things for you to think about in terms of when you want to become a Broker, but you have time!

Hi @Mike Cowper, welcome to the Florida market! I am a real estate agent and I work for a brokerage that specializes in Wholesale Investment properties. We focus in the Greater Tampa Bay area, so I wanted to ask if you are looking for Orlando only, or are open to nearby Tampa Bay as well? If you are, I believe we can do a lot of business together. Just like you, my brokerage does about 15-20 properties a month (mostly off-market) so together we can do that and more. Hi @Will Schryver. I have been a real estate agent in Tampa for almost 3 months now, and I used Bob Hogue in St. Pete. Since it wasn't too long ago, I can tell you that his 63 Hour course is absolutely amazing. You have some choices on how to take the class (in class, online) and how long it takes. I did the week long class which is 9 hours a day for a week, but you can also do 6 hours a week (split between two nights) and that takes a couple months, so you have plenty of options to fit your schedule. His school also offers classes for the 45 hour post license, broker license, etc, so I would definitely highly recommend that school (and the St. Pete location if that is viable for you). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
