I think its more a matter of personal style than right or wrong.

Its a silly gesture and I wish they would just counter, but its the "in-style" move these days.

My owner style will be initially hands on, and then increasingly hands off as the transition of ownership settles in.

For those who aren't familiar with this style of job, I'm on the road all day every day - I'll support a surgery in the morning, bounce from one hospital to another, to various Dr. offices, and so on.
