My fiances was offered a professor position at Cal Poly and I'm excited for the change.

A socialist law professor.....who could have imagined?

Recently, I have explored real estate forums, asked my former real estate professors about real estate careers, and have been reading textbooks on the basics of real estate.Now for the question.If you were 21, out of college, and with no real liabilities, what paths would you take?

Went from $900/mo Gross income (when they paid) to $1800 who are doctors and professors and I could probably get more next time around.

At a great business school, you don't spend the majority of your time sitting in front of a professor listening to a lecture; you spend the majority of your time sitting in front of world-famous business-people who are offering their mentorship or you are spending your time creating real business plans, building real businesses, pitching to real investors and getting real-world feedback on real ideas.

I am a Advisor/Professor at a Community college ....luv my job but knew it began with that there is never enough money it.

Professor Whaley a famous law professor from Ohio State had a great pre-amble to one of his legal tomes.  

Furthermore, a college professor likely is the wrong person to teach this since he/she makes money as an employee.

This morning NPR had a story about MIT professor William Wheaton (http://dusp.mit.edu/faculty/william-wheaton) and his forecast for 70 markets in the U.S.

My question - if the Professor was so smart why didn't he go after either one :-)
