I realize the BP drum beat is loud for BRRRR, but don't make the mistake of believing that is the only way to be a successful real estate investor.

As they have it drummed into them that if the property does not positive cash flow day one its a bad deal.

For me it's drumming.

Personally I think it shows bad form from them by what they do, and I personally doubt it is helping their business at all by being a shameless drum beater instead of an honest purveyor of the area. 

Walking on them amplifies through the floor joists like a drum.

Not sure about your market but I've seen REO commonly listed here low to drum interest and bidding war.
