Statistically in Florida a police officer is 3 times more likely to commit a violent crime than a licensed CCW holder. 

We do not do violent crime background checks, non-violent financial crimes are all we really care about.

I want to ask what the charge was or at least was it a violent or non violent charge but I want to make sure I'm not overstepping any legal issues by asking that.

Can you be straight up honest with your tenants and others in saying if you or others have Felony convictions that include a violent nature/sex crime of any sort and you have not been out of jail/prison for at least 5 years to prove yourself as rehabilitated then I do not want you in my property? 

Oh, and if the natural gas people don't get the gas run to that house very soon I may commit a violent crime!
