This post makes me sick - this is how far entrenched the government is in our lives - how many exclusions and adjustments and qualifications are talked about in all this great advice - we need tax reform in this country

It's an entrenched cultural neurosis.The only solutions to this, I believe, for my friend's wife, for your parents, are absurd ones.First of all, there are temporary fixes.

My mind understands that it is the right financial play and once i have the debt cut in half and our new financial lifestyle entrenched i will probably consider it. 

And decided to really entrench myself in this knowledge.

If you spend what you make nothing is left to grow.For a lot of folks entrenched in the "spend everything they make" cycle the shortest term loan with the highest principle each month is what's required to kickstart their growth.  

Tim -Here in Central Florida in the Disney World area short term rentals are well entrenched, and I don't see that ever changing for a number of reasons - one being the counties where they are located are receiving tremendous tax revenues from them.I would suggest that you look here for a vacation rental. 

I would definitely want to speak to those groups, but they can also act a bit entitled because they are so entrenched in that market, plus they really know their numbers and can sometimes be a lot more conservative than others. 

Learning from someone already entrenched in the business and being on the General Partnership team with them is a tremendous value-add to your investors when you're looking to operate a deal on your own after your first deal.
