That investment account has done great, but once the balance was high enough that I could pay off my mortgage (it was not a big mortgage to begin with) I decided I no longer needed to pay it off since I had the money to pay it off if I needed to in a pinch. 

My thoughts on this matter  to be taken with a pinch  of salt because what's good for you....Good luck

I pinch myself every morning.  

So the people who were pinching to get into a deal or two 5 years ago have now hit the mother load. 

Were you berated when you made mistakes with your first investment or was it a complete success that you had to pinch yourself and thank your mother for producing such an awesome human being?

Was supposed to close and the bank decided they were no longer funding jumbos for the time being so he is in a pinch.

Not many are hitting the pinch point yet on their properties, but the bookings have dropped substantially.

I have not specifically been able to connect my injuries through being in the Army but I know in the back of my mind carrying rucksacks that weigh in excess of 80 lbs. and at the time I only weighed about 135 that could have contributed to some of my back issues (herniated disc, bulged discs, pinched sciatic nerve, etc). 

I'm an investor and a General Contractor and I have found being handy is most useful in both knowing how to do something the right way or, in a pinch, being able to jump in and do it yourself. 

They can also take them off site in a pinch if same day turn is too tight.
