This is more of an effective way to find probate leads.Or grab the San Diego Tribune or on-line http://www.legalnotice.org/pl/sandiego/ and look for "Notice of Petition to Administer Estate" to start your path of least resistance. 

However, reading articles in the tribune can help with IDing  those streets. 

The best sources I use are the SD Union Tribune (as mentioned by Dan below) and SDAR.

I've tried looking up probates through the Union Tribune (paper and online), as well as the city probate website.

Hey everyone,My partners and I are currently considering filing an appeal to the Michigan Tax Tribunal to review our property taxes.  

(had newspaper ads to prove it) It was subsequently tax assessed at significantly more than what I paid for it (paid ask) and I contested it all the way to the state tax tribunal and lost.

@Kevin Goodwin My Board MLS actually brought me in front of their tribunal and threatened to fine me for not stating that I had a real estate license in my marketing to buy houses so I have first hand experience with this.
