The title agency alerted me to this; I wouldn’t have been able to uncover it on my own, as the ground rent was recorded many decades ago—well before the 1970s, which is as far back as public land records go when searched online.I went out of my way to add an addendum to my original PSA, as well as to the AA, to inform the buyer that there is ground rent, and that they will need to redeem the land in the future.
