In my opinion and understanding, Rent 2 Retirement is a Curated Experience for investing in/with Real Estate. 

Lenders may not loan against a retirement account, meaning using the retirement account as collateral against something outside of the retirement account.

I am a current teacher (middle school math, Boston) I will retire in about 4-6 years.

Keep in mind once you retire you may stilll live another 30 years.

If you use the sneaky rental method you could have 10+ properties by the time your 40 and may even be able to retire.

Here’s a pretty detailed report of my recent (bad) experience with Rent To Retirement:I contacted Rent To Retirement about buying a property or properties with them.

We repeated this process and will continue to until we're either retired, or don't feel like dealing with property anymore.

@Mel Rosario, like you said, it's difficult to give a correct answer or know how local markets will perform in the future to provide further advice than whether this strategy fits your criteria and aligns with your future retirement goals.

It taught me that I needed something to do "forever" NEVER RETIRE!
