Calculate the infrastructure cost to build and maintain per 1000 residents for:- miles of road, sidewalks, streetlights- miles of utilities: water, sewer, gas, electricity, internet- public services: police, fire, snowplowing, public works, trees and green spacesAnd then people complain about taxes.

Yup Comply ,,,comply and smile..As far as rust on furnace,, sand it off and spray paint it..if it's the exterior.. if he red flagged it.. you got issues and might need a HVAC guy to service to ok that's it's up to use.At least he didn't hit the electrical panel or outlets, gfi's ,, roof.. or sidewalks/ steps for cracks..You could ask if you can still get ok to rent, and he'd probably say OK... with time table for reinspection.. set.... did you ask??

Maybe some trade like hire them to mow yards, or landscape, pressure wash sidewalks, clean out vacant units, etc.

I spoke with the city and they confirmed that the application was indeed filed and they see no reason the lot couldn't be subdivided  pending the necessary infrastructure was put in such as the sewer tap and sidewalk.

I had one group of tenants who literally stated that exhaling into their stupid bounty blower (look it up) should make it undetectable... again, they were stupid, they got told all of the above and I explained to them that the duration of their lease was their legal and financial responsibility even AFTER eviction and that I would garnish their wages to recoup that IF NEEDED or they could walk their cheech and chong butts out to the sidewalk like they were told to do the day we signed the lease agreement.

I also have no sympathy whatsoever for drug addicts that are doing their drugs in the open, leaving their dirty syringes on our sidewalks and in our parks, and commiting crimes to feed their habit. they should be in jail.
