The entrenchment seems to be a bit more then I had projected. 

@Ola Dantis Thank you for your feedback, I feel as though I have obsessed over the syndication space enough for the past month or two that I can at the very least speak the language, and now I'm at the point where I need to further educate myself practically, get more entrenched in education and hop in a few deals, even if just passively at first to get real life experience.

But if force mind to say "ok, let's do this different, let's pretend everything with HOA is 100% correct" and look back trying to find how it all goes together, may learn some new perspectives in it all that can aid going forward.From what shared thus far, i have a feeling that things got adversarial early, and that entrenchment made any positive resolutions very hard.

Nothing went to waste, the concept of saving was heavily entrenched in our family, and that was passed onto my mother.

Jen's family I've observed has still had success with a couple of flips of their own,-and is still entrenched in the Real Estate investment community.Also, Jen Turner a local investor who has had success with house hacking and a couple of BRR properties is always glad to help and offer insight pertaining to vendors, contractors, etc. 

Jack,  why sell if rents are going to sky rocket .. and move to areas of the country were rents remain stable IE don't raise much and the renter class is already totally entrenched IE 50% of the population or more rents compared to west coast were that number is quite albeit less. ???  

No amount of success stories, no number of impossible situations that Agents are not equipped to handle, no logical attack on flawed equity stripping logic or questioning if I was "ethically" obligated to offer top dollar (I'm not, you're not, heck, they don't even do it in retail) could slake the hate or turn the tide of an entrenched culture.

It was a great decision and I'm now fully entrenched in real estate. 

Wholesalers or learning to wholesale and get your own motivated seller list, networking with agents and landing on a rockstar agent who can help you find listings pre-market, getting entrenched in your local tax sale or foreclosure auctions, and I can keep going… it is hard for me to believe there are NO deals in your market.
