This is my first property in the Houston area. Does anyone have experience renting to tenants with prior offenses? It was a felony in 2011 aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Any advice would be helpful.....

If I had been notified of the 1st late rent offence, I would have began mailing my checks much sooner or delivering them in person and nipped the whole problem in the bud right away.
