I went off on a tangent of my goals, but I felt it best to illustrate where I came from to where I want to go and because of these podcasts that I listen to almost daily, I feel ecstatic about getting there even though I feel alone in this in my home.

Interesting stat and actually illustrates a point I am going to make.Some of you have mentioned insurance companies and their actuary tables. 

The reason I am mentioning this is to illustrate that even new items can have issues.A broken closet door could be something as simple as the door falling of it's track.

I know it's a lot more money than nail polish, but I'm just using that to illustrate the 'Your Thing" concept.Unless she is just dead set against it of course...in which case you will need to be a better salesman...You could always try the old "Mink Coat" analogy (or something along those lines).It goes like this, "I know you would like me to use this money to buy you a new Mink Coat (or vacation in Tahiti, or whatever), but if I do, the money will be gone forever.

I'm hoping that some of these newbies who think this is some easy get rich quick gig come here and read the real world experiences illustrated here.
