Shure it's made thing easier, more access and cheaper to launch and promote the next snake-oil.

And, this involves everything you care about:  stocks, real-estate, business dev, commodities (oil, precious metals, minerals, etc), estate planning, asset protection.  

The bond market is influenced by two dozend things including geopolitics, the oil price, currency markets, the stock market and what my neighbor's dog ate for breakfast.

Doing the math, if a seasoned fix and flipper had a well-oiled efficient process and was able to consistently hit $50k per house (after costs and overhead required to go at that pace), he/she would have to do 34 flips in 21 months to make what we made on one deal.

That's behind but I still reflect on the slick snake oil sales techniques that pulled my wife and I into the "course".

avoid expensive gurus who are good snake oil salesman and tag along with the people actually investing.
