Also I could be wrong but I think to legally lend in OHIO one needs to be state licensed and NMLS registered.. again could be wrong but I know we are setting up a very narrow niche lending platform there for foreclosing buying and I got recruited because they need my license to be legal.Now for the private folks who only do a few loans and don't hold themselves out as lenders like you obviously do there is usually a carve out.

Earlier you mentioned how you recruited wholesalers who were bombarding you with cold calls to use your lending product.

When I canceled the service, they charged a fee for the fee of the fee...took days to reply to messages after I got the service but to recruit within an hour they would call back.

Also they may recruit from a distance. 

Brokers should be working on the business, recruiting agents, and putting out fires.

@Michael Patrick - I've been talking with them for the past week and they said they're actively recruiting in certain cities.

I think he is fishing for recruits.
