It’s each of our jobs to do due diligence in any investment we makeUnfortunately our society has created an environment where everyone wants to blame someone or some thing instead of taken ownership and responsibility!

If I had my way in society, everyone would start out with the same amount of money when they hit 18 - maybe 100k, I don't know - and you make whatever you make of yourself until you're dead.

But I completely get and appreciate the sentiment and the connections to the greater issues in our society.  

You do have a point about property taxes, its one of the worst plagues on our society but thats a story for a different day.

It was the right thing to do for society.  

How about paying people's rent, thus spreading the cost onto society as a whole, rather than confiscating landlord gross income (85% of which goes to expenses)?

It scares me to death to think about the older people in our society that have to work to pay their bills but can't make it.

Progressive taxes coupled with policies that actively support the middle class (healthcare, education, infrastructure etc)  is what creates a stable society.

No, for some reason our twisted society values the one who carries food over the one who actually makes it.

This thread is uplifting in a way, it is a message to leasing landlords that you are not alone in what you come to see in society when trying to find a reasonably sane, responsible and solvent tenant.
