We use a local agency to manage short and long term rental of our place and while they charge a hefty percentage we don't have to coordinating cleanings between same-day checkin/checkout guests or questions on how to work the cable, etc... from hours away.At least where we are vacation home prices are up due to Covid and the desire to have an escape spot.  

People order food with Uber Eats, have cable TV and the latest iPhone, but an emergency savings account wasn't important enough to them because they expect others to sacrifice for them.

If you're not into primary source material, then at least attempt to find more objective sources than cable news or radio.

Last Friday's meeting had maybe 35 people, and lets just say the speaker was not as impressive as Bruce (nor were they given ample A/V setup and prep time).

We're also looking into a 24/7 video surveillance offered by our local cable provider. 

so will be hard to find good tenants, and with inventory in street, there will be a war to get them.Hopefully i am wrong and we will live a V shape recovery...  

Turn off the cable, return the latest iPhone to the store, sell your jewelry, downgrade your car, list useless stuff around your home on ebay, get a roommate, whatever it is, figure out a way.

Cancel any subscriptions you may have (gym, cable, etc), stop eating out, get a second job or start a side business.

That's funny, that high desert AV still growing I think and new defense contract cranking it up again.
